ANDREA MARKL
(She, Her)
PhD Candidate, Researcher
My central research interest lies in young people’s everyday practices in socio-material-technological spaces and links these to their negotiation of difference, as well as possible related experiences of violence and exclusion. In this context, both the agency of social media and the question of how to approach such everyday practices from a methodological perspective are important to me.

About Me
My central research interest lies in young people’s everyday practices in socio-material-technological spaces and links these to their negotiation of difference, as well as possible related experiences of violence and exclusion. In this context, both the agency of social media and the question of how to approach such everyday practices from a methodological perspective are important to me.
A teacher myself, I am in contact with young people’s everyday experiences day after day. Through my research, I want to understand them better and contribute to the prevention of violence.
